In the spirit of Armando's new lipsticks, this month Make-up by Armando shows you how to "Love Your Lips!" Here are our three tips for you to show your lips just how much you care:
- Always use a Lip Brush.
Armando has put his Gold Lip Brush on special for you this month to show you how vital this little tool is. A lip brush gives you ultimate control in application, especially in areas such as the Cupid's Bow and at the edges and corners of your lips. Also, by not applying it directly from the tube, it stays on longer and you use less since you only use what you need instead of blotting off excess lipstick.
- Frosted lipstick is more translucent than cream lipstick.
Cream lipsticks are thicker and provide more coverage than frosted lipsticks. If you have lines on your lips, cream lipstick is best for you. Creams are also easier to "exaggerate" your lip line if you line the outer edge of your lips. The translucent quality of frosted lipstick adds more shimmer to your lips.
- Lipstick keeps lips moist.
Many brands leave your lips dry as the desert. Armando holds by the credo of moisture, his lipstick helps keep your lips moist and soft to help prevent chapping and windburn.
